NRECA Identifies EPA Regulations for Reconsideration

The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association recently filed comments with the Environmental Protection Agency identifying regulations that should be repealed, replaced or modified.

“Electric cooperatives and our member-owners value, and deserve, a healthy environment and cooperatives are proud of their environmental compliance,” the comments read.  “Nonetheless, the economic challenges faced by so many cooperatives and their member-owners underscore the importance of ensuring that these regulations are cost-effective.”

NRECA made a total of 11 recommendations in the public comments, which can be found here.
