Peace River Electric Cooperative worked quickly to restore power after Hurricane Irma knocked out service all of its 41,000 customers on Sept. 10. In nearby Glades Electric territory, a crew from Choctawhatchee Electric Cooperative in DeFuniak Springs lent a helping hand to get Glades members back on the grid.
